""An Essay On Mediaeval Economic Teaching"" is a book written by George Augustine Thomas O'Brien, first published in 1920. The book is an exploration of the economic teachings of the Middle Ages, focusing on the period from the 12th to the 15th century. O'Brien examines the works of prominent medieval scholars, including Thomas Aquinas, and analyzes their views on topics such as property, labor, and trade. He argues that the medieval economic system was based on principles of justice and morality, and that these principles can still be applied to modern economic issues. The book is considered to be an important contribution to the study of medieval economic thought and has been influential in shaping contemporary discussions on economics and ethics. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
