This Abrigo do Forro Negro, located in the municipality of Arcos, Minas Gerais, is part of a group of natural cavities in a limestone massif located in the mining area of the Pró-Calcário Ltda company, which was the only natural cavity to show archaeological remains, surprising the team responsible for the work and subsequent analysis, as four human skeletons and two more sets of incomplete bones were found. For this reason, this rock shelter is protected with a 150-meter buffer established around it.
