ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
A speculative thriller with supernatural undertones that will twist your mind.
After murdering her boyfriend during what was meant to be a romantic evening, Anna vanishes mysteriously, leaving behind a mountain of questions and a single clue: a notebook with a date and a drawing of a kangaroo.
Nearly two years later, on the exact date written in the notebook, Anna is found unconscious on the shore of a lake, with no memory of what she did or where she's been. While recovering in the hospital, she finds an unexpected ally in Julia, a prominent psychiatrist with secrets of her own. In a suspiciously selfless act, Julia helps Anna escape and hide in a cabin, where together they begin to search for the answers Anna desperately needs. But the mystery behind this story goes far beyond why Anna killed her boyfriend or why she can't remember anything.
Disturbing and full of suspense, The Day I Die is a speculative thriller with supernatural elements that twists the mind and presents a literary challenge that won't leave genre lovers indifferent. "Once again, Federico Axat is the kind of hypnotic writer you love to read but can never fully trust," The New York Times.
