How to Choose and Use the EDC Gear You Didn't Know You Needed!

people into Batman caricatures, loaded down with utility belts and expensive gear of questionable usefulness. Rather, it's to help readers make informed, intelligent decisions about what
they want or need to carry to make their daily lives safer and easier. In his easy-to-understand approach, Cobb lays out a three-layer system that almost anyone can adapt, taking into account your budget and environment, whether its urban, wilderness or workplace: - On
body - What you routinely keep in your pockets or on your belt. - Off
body - What you carry in a backpack, messenger bag, or similar conveyance. - Vehicle
- What stays in your vehicle to get you back on the road or keep you safe until
help arrives. Each chapter provides a detailed look at a specific category of gear. The author, an experienced gear reviewer, explains how to choose it and how to use it, and then follows up with specific recommendations so you know what brands to trust and which to avoid.
