130 Hymns & Sacred Melodies for Tin Whistle is a unique collection of music designed for the D tin whistle. It offers a diverse selection of 130 Western European and American hymn and sacred song melodies that are ideal for the instrument. All selections are written in the whistle-friendly keys of D or G major with suggested chord accompaniment. A chromatic fingering chart is provided, and the highest note required is A in the second octave.Whistle players will find this music a refreshing departure from the typical Irish music repertoire. While written specifically for the tin whistle in D, 130 Hymns & Sacred Melodies for Tin Whistle is an amazing sourcebook that will be useful to arrangers, praise band instrumentalists, choir directors, and accompanists worldwide.
