The enchanting story of an abandoned kitten's life after it is rescued and given a home by a couple who reside on the Caribbean island of Aruba. The kitten adapts to his new home and after a while establishes his life and habits. His day is filled with adventures in the large garden of the villa, where he chases the tropical birds, and hunts the geckos and iguanas and land crabs. He is content with life.
The story illustrates hw kindness shown to a pet is often reciporocated.
The story is beautifully illustrated using a method of realistic imagery. Real photos are blended using conventional illustration methods, which result in a vivid picture of the story in the reader's mind.
