Dr. LIU Dejian is the Founder and Chairman of NetDragon Websoft Holdings Limited, and serves as Co-Dean of the Smart Learning Institute and the National Engineering Research Center for Big Data Application in Education at Beijing Normal University, China. He is a member of the Governing Board of the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE), and is widely regarded as a leader in the field of smart education innovation. As a contributor to China’s National Smart Education Platform, Dr. Liu has driven technological innovations aimed at enhancing educational equity. He has played a pivotal role in global education initiatives under UNESCO and the Belt and Road Initiative, with impact across Africa, the Middle East, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) regions. Through NetDragon’s education technologies, his work now supports over 1.3 million classrooms in more than 150 countries. Dr. Liu and his team hold over 1,400 patents and have authored 17 books and more than 30 academic papers.

Dr. SUN Qiurui is Senior Engineer, Deputy Director of the Center of Information and Network Technology, as well as the Concurrent Deputy Director of the Joint Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence and International Planning, Beijing Normal University, China. Specializing in educational informatization, Dr. Sun is in charge of the university’s campus information technology infrastructure, big data strategic planning, official website governance, cybersecurity management and Internet Data Center (IDC) operation and maintenance. He has presided over and participated in over 20 ministerial-level research projects, and has authored dozens of peer-reviewed academic publications.

Ms. MIAO Miao obtained her Master’s degree from Durham University, United Kingdom. She currently serves as Director of the Cooperation and Exchange Center at the National Engineering Research Centre of Cyberlearning and Intelligent Technology of China.

Ms. WANG Junyi is an Educational Researcher at the Smart Learning Institute of Beijing Normal University, China, serving as a core member of the World Digital Education Alliance Secretariat and of the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) Chair on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education. Her work focuses on AI-driven educational transformation, international cooperation, and educational leadership development. She has led numerous international AI training programmes and executive workshops for education policymakers, university leaders, faculty members, and K-12 teachers across the globe. She also spearheads flagship global initiatives on AI in higher education, including the Pacesetting Global Educational Transformation: AI-Driven Innovations from World-Class Universities, alongside international joint research with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on AI curriculum analysis and educational governance.

Dr. ZENG Haijun is Vice Dean of the Smart Learning Institute of Beijing Normal University, China, Deputy Director of the Educational Informatization Strategy Research Base (Beijing) of the Ministry of Education of China, and Deputy Director of the National Engineering Research Center of Cyberlearning and Intelligent Technology. His main research interests include online education and Digital Learning Support (DLS) service systems.
