The Genuine Works of Flavius Josephus, The Jewish Historian is a comprehensive collection of twenty books of the Jewish Antiquities, seven books of the Jewish War, and the Life of Josephus. Written by the renowned Jewish historian Flavius Josephus, this book provides an in-depth account of the history and culture of the Jewish people, their struggles, and their triumphs. The Jewish Antiquities covers the period from creation to the outbreak of the Jewish revolt against Rome in AD 66, while the Jewish War narrates the events of the Jewish revolt and the subsequent Roman conquest of Jerusalem. The Life of Josephus is an autobiographical account of the author's life, including his role in the Jewish revolt and his eventual surrender to the Romans. This book is an essential resource for anyone interested in Jewish history, culture, and religion, and provides a valuable insight into the political and social climate of ancient Israel. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
