Neha Sharma is an AI and data science crusader who advocates its application for achieving sustainable goals, solving societal, governmental and business problems as well as promotes the use of open data. She has more than 25 years of experience and presently working with Tata Consultancy Services and is a Founder Secretary, Society for Data Science. Prior to this she has worked as Director of premier Institute of Pune, which runs post-graduation courses like MCA and MBA. She is an alumnus of a premier College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneshwar, and completed her PhD from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad. She is the recipient of “Best PhD Thesis Award” and “Best Paper Presenter at International Conference Award” at National Level. Recently, she has received the Golden Book Awards 2023 for the book titled “Towards Net-Zero Targets: Usage of Data Science for Long-Term Sustainability Pathways”.
Seema Purohit has a Ph.D. (Mathematics) from the University of Mumbai, a PGDBA (Information Technology and Financial Management) from MIT, and an MBA (Information Technology Management) from Jaipur National University. Presently she works as Global Professor of Practice for Golden Gate University, California, and Vice President—Academics, Bharat Research in AI and NextGen (BRAIN). She is the Chief Coordinating Officer for the Mumbai Region at the Indian Academy of Industrial and Applicable Mathematics (IAIAM) and serves as the Joint Secretary for the Indian Women Scientists Association. As a researcher and a recognized Ph.D. guide, she has guided 32 M.Phil. Students and 13 Ph.D. students successfully worked extensively on the research dissertations in the subject of computational intelligence and applications of mathematics to computer science. She has also guided over 200 projects at postgraduate programs. Presently she is guiding 15 international DBA students in emerging technologies with a concentration in GenAI at Golden Gate University, California.
Mrityunjoy Panday is a trailblazer in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Principal Architect in AI/ML and the Advanced AI Competency Lead at Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation. In his role as a Senior Architect in AI since January 2021, Mr. Panday has led and designed multiple AI initiatives. His expertise in GPT3, Codex, and automated scientific writing highlights his ability to merge cutting-edge AI technologies with practical applications.
Rachna Yogesh Sable is an accomplished academic and researcher with a Ph.D. in Computer Science (AI) from Bennett University (2024) and more than 17 years of teaching, research, and leadership experience. She is currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Department for Artificial Intelligence at GH Raisoni College of Engineering & Management, Pune. Her primary research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Predictive Analytics, and their applications in domains such as stock market forecasting, medical imaging, and generative AI. She has authored and co-authored numerous research papers in reputed journals and conferences, contributed a book chapter with IGI Global, and holds patents and copyrights in AI/ML-enabled systems.Dr. Sable has been honored with prestigious recognitions such as the Jyeshta Acharya Award (2024) and the Best HOD Award (2022). She has actively contributed to the academic community as a session chair and reviewer at leading international conferences (ICICT, Smartcom, ICT4SD, IDICAIEI) and serves as a mentor for hackathons and innovation challenges, guiding student teams to success at national-level competitions. She successfully obtained funding from AICTE and Savitribai Phule Pune University for faculty development programs and conferences. She also coordinated workshops, FDPs, and industry collaborations on emerging technologies including AI, ML, deep learning, robotics, and cybersecurity. She also plays an active role in academic governance as BOS Chairman and Academic Council Member, while contributing to professional societies like the Bharat Research in AI and NextGen (BRAIN), Society for Data Science (S4DS) and Computer Society of India (CSI). With a strong academic, research, and innovation profile, Dr. Sable continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of AI education and applications while fostering collaborations between academia and industry.
