Zora's dollhouse business is booming, and stuffed animals are lining up for a room in her new mansion. It costs $40. Zora has saved $15. Nana offers to lend her the remaining $25, with one important promise: Zora will pay back $5 each Saturday for five weeks. At first, repayment feels easy. Then a glowing bouncy ball tempts Zora to spend money she owes. After missing a payment, she must decide how to make things right. With Nana's guidance, Zora learns what borrowing and loans mean, how interest can add to the cost, and why keeping promises matters. She discovers that a trustworthy name is built one choice-and one payment-at a time. The Little Girl Who Learned About Credit is Book Four and the final installment in the "Little Girl" Financial Literacy Series. This warm, practical story for children ages 5-9 introduces borrowing, repayment, installments, interest, and trust. Includes a Borrow and Repay activity, Parent & Educator Discussion Guide, and glossary-ideal for read-aloud, classrooms, and family conversations about money. Follow Zora's journey through all four books, from the four jobs of money to starting a business, owning property, and learning about credit.
