Mitch Albom erzählt mit viel Gefühl, jedoch ohne allzu sentimental zu werden, die Geschichte eines alten, verbitterten Mannes der im Himmel landet. Dort trifft er die fünf Menschen, die ihm dabei helfen, die Dinge zu verstehen, die er in seinem Leben nicht verstanden hat. Ein Buch, das einem Hoffnung gibt und daran glauben läßt, dass doch alles einen tieferen Sinn hat. Absolut lesenswert!

Toll zum lesen, habe auch die deutsche Version. Finde jedoch das englische Buch interessanter und irgendwie feiner.

Ein Ende und gleichzeitig ein Anfang und jedes Leben berührt auch ein anderes. Alboms Buch ist eine schöne Homage an das Leben und zeigt, dass kein Leben unbedeutend ist, egal wie klein es einem auch vorkommen mag. Denn jedes ist wichtig und auch wertvoll für jemand anderen.
