Hearts Aflame

Kristen is the daughter of an Englishwoman and a Viking who grew up fierce and proud in the Norselands. When her brothers go trading with their ship, she hides on board to have an adventure. But they are actually trying to raid the English coast and when their group is beaten and taken prisoner, Kristen is among them. Royce, an English lord, is physically attracted to her but hates the Vikings. He soon has an affair with his prisoner, but their relationship will only have a chance if he can stop hating and treat her like an equal. This is a very good romance, intense and with a convincing cultural background.
