Love In The Suds, A Town Eclogue: Being The Lamentation Of Roscius For The Loss Of His N Y K Y is a book written by William Kenrick in 1772. It is a satirical work that tells the story of Roscius, a man who has lost his beloved N Y K Y (New York Kitty) due to his own foolish actions. The book is written in the form of a town eclogue, a type of pastoral poem that was popular in the 18th century, and is filled with witty and humorous dialogue between the various characters. Throughout the book, Kenrick pokes fun at the social conventions and customs of the time, and uses Roscius' misfortunes to comment on the follies of love and the dangers of vanity. Love In The Suds is a charming and entertaining work that provides a fascinating glimpse into the literary and cultural landscape of 18th century England. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
