Praxis Iambica is a book written by John Day Collis in 1857. It is a series of exercises designed to help students learn and practice Greek tragic senarii, which are a type of iambic verse commonly used in Greek tragedy. The book starts with elementary exercises and progresses to more advanced ones, allowing students to build their skills gradually. The exercises include both translation and composition, giving students the opportunity to practice both reading and writing in Greek. The book also includes notes and explanations to help students understand the grammar and syntax of the language. Overall, Praxis Iambica is a valuable resource for anyone studying Greek tragedy or looking to improve their skills in the Greek language. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
