Academy Sketches, 1883 is a book that contains nearly two hundred illustrations drawn by various artists in the year 1883. The book was authored by Henry Blackburn and serves as a collection of sketches from the Royal Academy of Arts in London. The illustrations in the book are diverse and cover a wide range of subjects, including portraits, landscapes, still life, and genre scenes. The sketches are accompanied by descriptions and commentary from Blackburn, providing insight into the artistic techniques used by the artists and the context in which the sketches were created. The book is a valuable resource for art historians, students of art, and anyone interested in the history of art in the late 19th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
