There are no up-to-date maps of the classical world suitable for class use. Those previously available were nearly fifty years old and very limited in their coverage. The aim of these maps is to show every place of importance in the classical world, incorporating the latest classical findings. They are printed in full colour, and indicate in detail: relief, drainage, rivers and lakes as well as cities, Homeric sites and battle sites. Special symbols have been created for these custom-made maps, which are also illustrated with colour photos showing some of the major places of interest. Coverage: The whole of Greece north to Edessa; the Aegean including Crete; Asia Minor east to Sardis and Aphrodisias.
