The story of Anne Frank's family, based on newly discovered letters, documents, and photos found in their home. An old lady dies in Basel. But Helene Elias wasn't just any old lady - she was born Helene Frank, Anne Frank's aunt. Alice Frank, the family's grandmother, left Germany for Switzerland in the 1930s, and remained at the hub of their lives. Alice kept every family memory and correspondence she could. When the house was passed down to Alice's grandson, Buddy, and his wife, they found Alice's collection, treasures which form an endearing and convincing account of the Frank family.
