Only a Duke Will Do

Louisa North, King George's illegitimate daughter, once was the reason that Simon Tremaine, the Duke of Foxwood, was exiled to India for seven years. Now, after spending a glorious, political career there, he returns to England and aspires to become prime minister soon. The king favours his plans, if Simon marries his daughter and thus keeps her from interfering with politics. As sparks still fly high whenever Louisa and Steven meet, Steven agrees and courts the obstinate, strong-willed lady, who tries in vain to withstand his advances and her own feelings. But to win her love completely Steven finally must make up his mind what is foremost important to him: love or his political career? I always like to read a Sabrina Jeffries romance. They are easy to read, have convincing characters, a story to tell, and some set backs to prolong the enjoyment of reading. I was not disappointed with this book and am looking forward to the next one in her "School for Heiresses"-Series.
