Lacking depth and character development

This was the first book I read from this series, and while I read it in just a day, I was surprised that it’s solely about sex. Nothing else. The main characters had no chemistry whatsoever. They met, and were hot for each other. It’s porn in writing. And don’t get me wrong - that’s fine. After having read other Tessa Bailey books, I just expected differently though. Also, what about the super problematic content that Ben as her professor is in a position of power. It’s her professor, for God’s sake!! Ben working on the farm and the ending are just plain absurd. And I’m not even gonna start with the Lolita thing and the name Honey Perribow. So, if you’re looking for an easy read that’ll probably turn you on and that will not have you connect to any of the characters, go for it!
