I think this is one of Kings weaker books. There were so many scenes were I was not feeling well at all. Jessies trauma, her freeing herself from the handcuffs to the frightening Moonlight Man to the hungry stray dog. At nights I had to choose a different book to read because I am not good with gore or weird shadow creatures. So I did get a wonderful spook and it scratched that certain itch only Kings books can help with. But that’s not why I think it wasn’t good. I want to feel unwell when reading horror books! The last few chapters were just so dissapointing. They dragged on for too long and felt incredibly flat compared to the rest of the story, taking away all the tension that was previously built. My main issue was how the mystery of the Moonlight Man was solved. Other then that, good book!
