Seven minutes. That is all it took for her to vanish. On January 20, 2005, twenty-one-year-old college student Randa Raffield crashes her car on a secluded stretch of Highway 98 near the Gulf of Mexico. She is hundreds of miles from where anyone believes she is supposed to be. A witness arrives moments after the crash and speaks to Randa. She appears fine. She says she doesn't need help. Seven minutes later, the first Gulf County sheriff's deputy reaches the scene. The car is empty. Randa is gone. She has never been seen again. Years later, John Jordan is asked to take another look at the baffling disappearance. Where was Randa going? Why was she so far from where everyone expected her to be? And most importantly, what could have happened during those seven missing minutes? The deeper John digs into Randa's final known movements, the more troubling the questions become. Someone saw her alive. Seven minutes later, she had vanished. Can John find Randa-or uncover who was responsible for making her disappear?
