What a great read!
Like her other novels, it is hard to explain exactly what the book is about. A wounded Gardner is sent on an Expedition to harvest a tree which does not grow outside Sount America. He gets into much trouble and it confronted with many Mayan Myths and storys. There are walking statues, forbidden woods with invisible predators and pollen that glow in the dark. I couldnt put it down.
