The book's title says it all!

Bewertet: eBook (ePUB)

Just like Tiffanie in "Sweatpants at Tiffanie's", who inherits a boxing gym, the heroine in Pernille Hughes next book is exploring a rather male-dominated field of activity. Her hobby, no, her passion, is brewing craft beer. On a small scale, but still. Although I'm interested in neither brewing nor even drinking any beer, home-made or not, I liked this plotline a lot. Maybe also because I liked Jen so much. And her sister Lydia. And of course Yakub, too! I was totally on Lydias side from the very beginning and wanted Jen to see what everyone else is seeing: Robert is not right for her! He is not a bad guy, not even when he wants to make a housewife and mother out of Jen with a more 'womanly' hobby like playing Bridge with his Mumsie. He is just not right for her because she doesn't love him one bit! But unlike all the readers, Jen cannot accept this fact so easily, not even when handsome Yakub enters the scene. Not even when she experiences the 'probably best kiss in the world' with said 'boat hottie'! On the other hand: the book would have been over way too soon if she would have 'followed the passion' right away. So instead we get 400 pages of an awesome story with happy and also melancholy moments, with a wonderful meet cute, a gorgeous guy and even a trip to Copenhagen (where I would have liked to 'see' more than only the beer museum)!
