A poetic journey...

This book is so beautifully written that I found myself pausing more than once to ponder the exquisite sentences and even wrote them down. But more than the style itself, I must praise the plot and the themes explored in this novel. What makes a good father or, more generally, good parents? Can such a thing even exist? What responsibilities do we bear as human beings by bringing life into this world? Not every work dares to tackle these questions and do them justice. But 'Journey Through a Strange Land' does, and not only does it take us on a successful intellectual journey. Aside from that, it's also a beautifully written book that manages to entertain. If you're looking for something a bit more poetic and profound, this work is definitely a brilliant choice!
