Moving Fast It’s difficult to grasp the concept of inevitable doom if it comes with a pool

Moving Fast is a great humorous fantasy novel in a "counter-balance world" that is similar to ours but full of surprises coming via different species. A groundbreaking new invention and its unanticipated implications bring a diverse bunch of quite different folks together to save their own lives and the lives of many others. I love the humour tagging along in the conversations - there is a laugh on every other page - plus the characters are carved out really nicely! It is engaging how the author creatively enhances a similar world to ours with fun and exciting features and twists all along the way. Relevant societal topics & challenges are repeatedly picked up and looked at with wit, reflection and from interesting angles - so some food for thought comes along too. Sometimes I would have liked some more description of the whole counterbalance place and its unfamiliar characters. Anyhow like this there is much room for follow-up novels to getknownown this newly created world better! Looking forward!

You quickly get attached to the (imperfect) characters of this book and follow along gladly in this fantasy world. I've loved the way some sentences are turned, not missing the chance to put some humour into serious situations. That's what made it stand out for me. I hope you'll enjoy reading it too!

Moving Fast is a lovely story to read in a world which seems so normal and familiar to ours and suddenly does not seem comparable to our world at all anymore. I really enjoyed how the author wrote about things as if they would be the most common and known thing to the reader although they are actually pure fiction. A great story to leave plenty of space for your own fantasy while having all the details you need to follow the story perfectly.
