"Michael Day's memorable poetry and prose poems breathtakingly convey a combat veteran's journey through the emotional wreckage of war, wielding an arsenal of art with a fierce determination to survive despair and embrace life." - Jan Barry, author, "Life After War & Other Poems" "Micheal Day is a Warrior; a man truly dedicated to the role and reality of Peace. This collection of writing is primal, heart-wrenching, and passionate. Day's work carries with it it the weight of having been honestly earned, out in the real world, where intentions and virtue, prayers and dreams, can be crushed and scorched forever. His is a voice that is needed, and while it can at times be uncomfortable, it remains, nevertheless, vital." - P.W. Covington, author, "Vet to Vet: An Examination of PTSD through Writing"
