I devoured this book in two days, I simply couldn’t stop reading. From the very first chapter, it pulled me in and refused to let go. The story follows Stella on a literal and emotional road trip, guided by music and memories. What unfolds is a deeply emotional exploration of love, loss, and the impossible weight of choice. Watching her struggle between two great loves, Nate, her steady and successful boyfriend, and Reid, the passionate drummer who once broke her heart, was both beautiful and heartbreaking. What makes this book stand out is how honestly it portrays love. Both relationships feel real. Both loves feel valid. And that’s exactly what makes it hurt. The story shows how it is possible to love two people in very different ways and how you can end up heartbroken. The writing is poetic and deeply infused with music. Every chapter feels like a song, filled with rhythm, emotion, and atmosphere. If you love concerts, if you have ever lost yourself in a playlist that perfectly matched your mood, if music and stories intertwine for you this book will hit hard. It’s angsty, steamy, emotional, and beautifully written. For me, it was pure reading joy—even if it tore my heart out along the way.

Ein muss für jeden, der Rockstar Romance liebt. Es geht nicht nur um die Geschichte wie zwei Liebende zueinander finden (oder auch nicht), sondern auch wie viel einem die Musik bedeuten kann, auch wenn man kein Musiker ist. Und das bedeutet für mich schon so unendlich viel, weil es so gut auf mich passt. Es ist sehr emotional, wie es von Kate Stewart von ihrer Ravenhood Reihe (Flock, Exodus und The finish line) bekannt ist. Ein richtiger Rolercoaster der Gefühle. Ich kann es zu 100% empfehlen und würde mich über eine deutsche Übersetzung riesig freuen.!
