Poemisations is a collection of the poetry produced by Dave Cook after his retirement, born from an unusual and somewhat irreverent approach to poetry and a desire to produce something a bit different. The book is divided into three sections. First "A Sort of Poetry" is a miscellaneous selection of what you might call 'normal' poetry with a fair selection of conventional and unconventional forms. Second "Science, Romance and Stuff" includes poems that fuse science and romance quite naturally together. Expect astrophysics, chemical elements, ukuleles and sewage treatment; don't expect metaphor, classical mythology and the Bard.
