    Buch (Gebundene Ausgabe)

Behind the fame, growth, and raw humanity: The Half of It by Madison Beer ️

It’s insane how little we actually get to see of celebrities. We never get the real bts or know what’s truly going on. People tend to put famous people in a box, thinking that because they have money and success, they must be the happiest, luckiest people on earth. But in reality, they struggle and have flaws just like the rest of us. They’re human, too. Madison’s story really opened my eyes about the internet, the music industry, and friendship. I listened to the audiobook, which she narrated herself, and it was so raw. Having grown up listening to her music, it felt so strange learning what she was secretly going through all this time. I always thought she was this perfect, happy person, but she has her own insecurities and struggles. I liked this book because it showed her true growth and beautiful personality. My biggest takeaway is that we all have flaws and insecurities, and that’s okay, that’s human. Having those struggles is what gives us the space to grow and become better versions of ourselves.
