"you will read it in one sitting" it says on the back. I was looking for a book I would devour in a short time so this was the perfect marketing towards me in that moment. It took me 2 sittings, but not because it was so good but because it is a small amount of pages with an even smaller amount of words per page. Very binary type of thinking displayed, tho, yes, it is dated in the 2010s, i guess that makes sense - plus one could argue that these are the thoughts of the protagonist, not the author herself, but since these thoughts are never at all challenged, I strongly disliked these parts. The language was too short and not poetic enough for me to give it 5 stars. I loved the queer story, the bond to her mother and the stories about her dating very much.
