By the author of Mr. and Mrs. American Pie, and featuring outrageous, damaged characters with a sharp comic voice and unexpected tenderness, Screaming Ball of Chaos will resonate with fans of Big Swiss and Everyone in my Family Has Killed Someone.
Chris was just your average male stripper when Kit exploded into his life. Eccentric, unpredictable, and convinced that chaos itself is the perfect weapon, Kit recruits him for her audacious plan to rob banks through elaborate acts of absurdity. Equal parts baffled and fascinated, Chris reluctantly goes along for the rise, only to discover that heists are merely the opening act - Kit's life is a performance hiding far more dangerous aspects than he could have imagined.
As federal agents close in and Kit's mysterious past races to meet them, Chris and Kit need to decide if the money and thrills of being the non-violent Bonnie and Clyde is worth losing one another.
