Pastor Clyde E. McNell Sr. has faithfully served in pastoral ministry for over 40 years, preaching and teaching the Word of God with passion and conviction. He is the longtime Pastor of Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Plaquemine, Louisiana, as well as New Light Baptist Church and St. Peter Baptist Church. In addition, he serves as President of the Iberville Parish Ministers Conference, a historic fellowship of churches dedicated to advancing the gospel and serving the community.
Pastor McNell is known for his practical, Spirit-led preaching that combines biblical depth with everyday application. He has a heart for mentoring young ministers, strengthening church leadership, and encouraging believers to live faithfully in a world filled with challenges. His ministry extends beyond the pulpit through teaching, counseling, and community outreach.
As an author, Pastor McNell has written books and devotionals designed to uplift, inspire, and equip God's people. His writings, much like his preaching, emphasize hope, perseverance, and trust in God's promises.
