Kitara Dupree Taylor found herself in a physically and emotionally abusive marriage that nearly killed her. Max Taylor, her husband, beat her senselessly, raped her, and disrespected her body. While being abused, her husband, Max, suffers a heart attack. Not knowing if her husband would live or die, Kitara escaped his abuse by leaving Rochester, New York, to Orlando, Florida, where she tries her best to leave her past behind, but sometimes, the past has a funny way of finding you. Will she survive, or will her past destroy her? CHARLES LEE ROBINSON JR. He put another masterpiece together when he wrote: THIS IS MY BODY BABY. This Novel dives into a young woman's mind and shows her vulnerability, innocence, failures, and triumphs. QUOTE: "Take care of your body; now, when I say body, I am not just speaking about your physical appearance; your body means your entire temple...Your body is your very existence." This book will take you into a world of sexual pleasures, laughter, and tears. Kitara, AKA Kittie, thinks she is healed from her past as she tries to date. She quickly finds herself involved with two different men at the same time. Jeremiah and Antonio, neither one knows about the other. Kitara is caught in between and doesn't know what to do, so she seeks help from her therapist, Sharon. Sometimes, looks can cloud your vision, and a heart full of love can remain hidden. Kitara faces many challenges while trying to figure out who she is as a woman and what she really wants while pursuing happiness. She realizes she must protect her body at all costs, and she is in charge of whom she gives her body to, even if it's herself.
