Somnath Bandyopadhyay is a Wetland ecologist and policy practitioner with 30+ years' experience in research, government, and civil society, specialising in rivers, wetlands, and ecosystem services in Monsoon Asia (formerly a Founding Faculty of Nalanda University). He combines field science with policy design and implementation, leading work on restoration, river health, and climate resilience. He advises governments, NGOs, and corporates on nature-based solutions, positioning ecosystems as foundations for social protection and sustainability.

Sourabh Kumar Dubey is an interdisciplinary researcher in aquaculture, fisheries, and environment with a decade of applied experience. Holding an MSc from the University of Calcutta and a PhD from Vidyasagar University, his work spans climate-resilient aquaculture, mangrove conservation, small-scale fisheries, and community-based aquatic food systems.
