Tong Liu, MD, PhD, FESC, FHRS, ISNE-F, Youth Committee member of ISE, is a Professor of Cardiology at Tianjin Medical University and Deputy Director of the Tianjin Institute of Cardiology. With over 200 publications, he specializes in cardiac remodeling, arrhythmic disorders, and cardiovascular aging, and is on the Stanford Top 2% Scientists list. Dr. Liu leads research on biomarkers of cardiovascular aging and developing novel cardiac age models. He serves on the editorial boards of leading journals such as Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology and BMC Cardiovascular Disorders and is Editor-in-Chief of Current Cardiology Reviews. His work focuses on molecular biology, clinical research, and the potential role of SGLT-2 inhibitors in cardiovascular disease. Dr. Liu has also authored and edited nine books, including AI Augmented ECG Technology from Springer. His extensive research and leadership make him a prominent figure in cardiovascular aging and translational cardiology.
