The funny, spectral, and melancholy writings of the landmark pre-tipping point trans artist
In 2006, Bryn Kelly moved from Appalachia to New York City. Over the next decade, she wrote furiously on being a trans woman, desire, class, loneliness, art, political infighting, HIV, depraved drug-fueled hookups with bougie trans men--and most of all, love. Collected posthumously in book form for the first time--including the legendary pseudonymous blogs The Hussy and Party Bottom--Kelly's writing is an uproarious time capsule of Obama-era queer culture, and with accompanying essays from luminaries like Torrey Peters, Joss Barton, and more, Dear Hussy is one of the 21st Century's most incisive portrayals of a precarious artistic life.Noch keine Bewertungen vorhanden
