The collection of poetry found on the pages in Pieces of Me in Poetry embodies understandings and emotions found within the boundless essence of the experience of souls. These experiences encompass those of the individual, as well as the roles they may find themselves in as wives and husbands, mothers and fathers, children, family, and friends. Narratives extend to pain and forgiveness, love and grief, celebrations and life experiences, as well as aspects of a Soul experience with your God-with a higher being.
These works are not meant to be read all at one time. The emotion you may experience should be allowed time to digest the power of silence, acceptance, heartbreak and sorrow, as well as hope, healing, and potentially even self-discovery. Joan reaches out to you based on unique experience, with which you may find the collective effervescence of the world at large.
Joan Arlene Welshenbaugh Schnepp's unique voice encourages you to find your own tears, smiles, and maybe even pure, simple laughter as you find pieces of yourself within. May some of these poems touch you deeply within and provide a path to self-acceptance, healing, and possibly even happiness.
