""A Trip To Music Land"" is a fairy tale book written by Emma L. Shedlock in 1876. The book is an allegorical and pictorial exposition of the elements of music. The story follows a young girl named Elsie who falls asleep and dreams of a magical land where music is the language everyone speaks. She meets various characters such as the King of Harmony, the Queen of Melody, and the Prince of Rhythm. Each character represents a different element of music and teaches Elsie about the importance of each element in creating beautiful music. The book includes colorful illustrations and musical examples to help readers understand the concepts being taught. Shedlock's book is a unique and creative way of introducing children to the world of music and inspiring them to explore their own musical abilities. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
