A gorgeous retelling
I must say, I was a bit sceptic at first. Retellings sometimes add fictional things to them and I’m not a big fan of that. But this one is wonderful. There is no “nonsense” , you can tell Madeline Miller knows her stuff. And not just that, Miller’s writing is so, so beautiful. Altough I knew how the story would end, it didn’t make it less sad. I think I’ll have to add this to my favorite books. I loved everything about it! For everyone whon is a fan of greek mythology, wonderful words and love. -
