A Good Dog and a Great Story

Loved this so much! It’s adventurous and action-packed, with lots of interesting characters and excellent character development. Rex is a Good Dog who just wants to please his master and be good. I loved reading from his POV—he’s so genuine. I also appreciate that the story wraps up nicely and doesn’t need a continuation, though I’m still excited to read Bear Head!

Really good.

Funny dialoges between the bio engineerd super animals. What is good/Bad? And why? Is there something in between friend and foe? Rex and his squad evolve in their journey, growing more aware and sentient. Nice and thrilling Story. One of my very favourite books i've read this year. Highly recommend.

Buch (Taschenbuch)

A book where theme was more important than plot

The author got really invested in the theme, he didn‘t really do a proper plot. Some things happen really fast and the finale is also extremely underwhelming and stupid. I enjoyed the book okay-ish, but a lot of times I felt thrown off. Good theme, but the writing isn’t good.
