The Fine Art of Living is a collection of poems and short stories that traces the life journey of Vittoria Sisca D’Amario from her birth on the Feast Day of St. Anthony of Padua in Calabria, Italy, through her family’s immigration to Canada in 1961 to the present-day enjoyment of her children and grandchildren. From Calabria to Canada, Vittoria D’Amario traces a poetic journey of the heart. These poems are moments of awareness remembered and restrung as stepping stones through time. A mesmerizing debut collection! - Josie Di Sciascio-Andrews, author of A Jar of Fireflies, Mosaic Press, 2015 Vittoria’s nostalgia for her homeland lingers still in her heart and soul—and infuses her poetic verses. Her love and reverence for her family, her grandparents and parents shines through in tributes to the hands that raised her. They would be very proud of Vittoria! - Maria Pia Marchelletta, President, Writers & Editors Network; author of Sentieri dell’Anima / Journey of the Soul, IOWI, 2010 About the author: Vittoria Sisca D’Amario is an Italian-Canadian poet, who lives in Woodbridge, Ontario. She began writing at a young age and has recorded her musings on life ever since. She is inspired by life itself and its little learning moments.
