Sapphic Art Heist on Titanic
The 4 girls Josefa, Violet, Hinna and Emilie plan to steal the precious Rubaiyat, a priceless collection of poems, which belongs to a passenger in the first class. I expected a slowburn romance, a catching heist and unique characters. Sadly, I ended up with a feeling of disappointment. I was so eager to read this book and at first it was quite entertaining. But with the ongoing story I lost interest because everything just happened too quickly and too soon. The heist wasn’t as grand as I imagined it to be and lacked enthralling moments. The overall relationship between the girls wasn’t explored much and I couldn’t connect with the characters. I would have loved to see more of their friendship. Overall a simple and amusing story with wasted potential.
