A must-read!
Those 4 short stories from a café, where you can time travel, are truly inspiring and profound. Also, each individual character is honestly well written. Their own special tales are so beautiful and so tragic at the same time. It’s really nicely written and easy to read through. Definitly recommended: Reading it with a cup of coffee or tea in a cozy evening. -

Welcome to the time travel cafe, with its particular rules and even more particular guests
This book was originally a theatre piece and it shows. The adaptation has preserved its theatrical feel, not only because the book is divided in scenes but also due to the detailed description of the actions of the different figures: where they sit, what they wear, when they go. Even the sounds are transcribed. While the problems faced by this set of characters revolve around such universal matters like love and family, the Japanese idiosyncrasy sips trough their thoughts and the way how they face such problems, which gives the book a singular flair that makes it – in my opinion – more interesting.
