Maybe in Another Life

Dieses Buch hat in mir so viele Gefühle geweckt, es ist wirklich unbeschreiblich. Zwar waren die zwei “wichtigsten” personality traits von der Protagonistin ihre Liebe für cinnamon rolls und ihr hoher Dutt, aber abgesehen davon kann man die Story nur lieben. Besonders Gabby hat es mir angetan, ihre Liebesgeschichte ist einfach der Wahnsinn. Die Plottwists waren wieder mal zu perfekt und am Ende habe ich die ein oder andere Träne vergossen. Ich liebe dieses Buch und das Konzept war ein klassischer Fall von “Ich-wünschte-ich-hätte-diese-Idee-gehabt-und-dieses-Buch-geschrieben”.

This book was recommended to me on YouTube and I was hesitant at first, but it exceeded my expectations. The concept of having two parallel stories was executed brilliantly, although one story outshone the other. I appreciated the diverse personalities of each character and how, regardless of the story you followed, they all became a significant part of your reading experience.

After reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (Best 2022 Book so far) I was intrigued to finding out and reading more from the author. I must say, even though Hannah did not grab my attention as much as Evelyn did, this was overall a good book. Good storyline-check Relatable- check Good ending or rather endings also check. Throw in a few cliches here and there and there you have it, a good book for those cosy or lazy springtime nights. 6/10 Recommend...
